What to check before leaving Buildium
Separate essential tools from unused ones
Buildium advertises association accounting, reporting, vendor management, and board/homeowner communication. Identify which you rely on; a broad platform is not automatically unnecessary for a volunteer board.
Verify financial continuity
OurHOA does not currently provide full accounting, bank reconciliation, or a verified import of historical balances. Keep your existing financial records and reporting process until a replacement is proven.
Test the move before committing
Export sample records, check which data can be transferred, and reconcile balances. OurHOA does not offer an automated migration or a guaranteed turnaround.
